Before applying, please take a quick look below to understand the composition of the Innovation Alliance and the type of organisations we’d love to include. Once we receive your application we’ll run an internal check before confirming your admission.


A) Alliance Members:

Who can apply to be an alliance member?
Solution-oriented companies and organizations that tackle plastic waste across all stages of its lifecycle, from source to sea (upstream, midstream, downstream, legacy pollution):

Examples:

  • Alternative or post-consumer recycled materials

  • Plastic waste reduction, reuse, and refill models

  • Remediation of legacy plastic pollution, including in the marine environment

  • Novel financing instruments & mechanisms that catalyze capital for plastic action

  • Software-based platforms that power the circular economy

  • Impact Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV)

  • Community waste management and waste worker empowerment initiative

    B) Innovation Champions:

    Who can apply to be an innovation champion?
    Ecosystem enablers that finance, support, and accelerate the transition
    towards a circular economy, such as:

    Examples:

  • Accelerators, collectives, and platforms that incubate innovations, conduct
    research, and generally promote the circular economy

  • Grant-making organizations, foundations, and family offices

  • Forward-thinking technology companies

  • Thematic venture capital & private equity funds focused on investing in
    impact, sustainability, and circular economy spaces
